Breaking up Christmas - more A tunes
Christmas isn't even here yet, but we played Breaking up Christmas at the Downingtown Old Time Jam at Pat's Pizza and I just had to include it.

These recordings are from a great jam at Rosemarie and Charlie Haines house in March of 2009 with Russ and Gail Hatton, Scott Prouty and Ellen Hatton, George Mercer, Thomas Hawkins, Bill Moffet, Susanne West and Jerry Northington.
Key of C: A Beautiful Life, By the Mark.
In the key of A it is Don and Donna DiPaulo at a Last Friday jam playing How Many Biscuits Can You Eat and Angelina Baker.
Just back from a great weekend at Pete & Kellies in celebration of the birthdays of Walt Koken and Clare Milliner, authors of the fantastic American Fiddle Tunes book. So, inspired by playing tunes all weekend I dug out jam recordings of some obscure tunes and a few old favorites in the keys of D and G.
Some more D tunes, with Tony Sume singing about how many pretty girls there are (hint; there's more than one), and Brandywine Bill messing around with Hell Among the Yearlings.
And finally, Irene is gone, the power is back on and the basement is drying out, here are some D Tunes.
Just before Irene took out the power and internet I posted some new A tunes, from a great evening at the Bluedot.
Posterous lost all the linked music pages - starting to add the fiddle tunes back again, slowly..... Don't know how reliable this service is, no help at all from their support.
